Project Overview
The Barcos Solar Plant features 48 MWp capacity with 84,952 Trina Solar bifacial modules (565 & 570 Wp), 154 Huawei 330 kVA string inverters, and 7 x 6,000 kVA transformer stations. Energy evacuation is handled by a 30/60 kV substation (50 MVA Siemens transformer) and 4.6 km hybrid transmission line (3.6 km overhead + 1.0 km underground) connecting to the REN national transmission grid.

Scope of Work & Activities
- Technical audit and validation of all detailed engineering designs;
- Full civil works, internal roads and structural foundations oversight;
- Quality control of module installation, inverters and transformer stations;
- Inspection and testing of the grid-interconnection HV transmission line;
- Oversight of cold and hot commissioning procedures;
- Commercial energization validation and Grid Code compliance testing.
